Services

5 Stars Movers NYC provides local and long-distance moving services in New York City and surrounding areas. All services are subject to availability and must be booked in advance. We reserve the right to decline service at our discretion.

Quotes & Pricing

Phone and online quotes are estimates based on information provided. Final pricing may differ based on actual move conditions including stairs, distance, volume, and special items. A binding quote requires an in-person or video assessment. Hourly rates are charged in full-hour increments.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled move date are free of charge. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee. Rescheduling is subject to availability with at least 24 hours notice.

Liability

5 Stars Movers NYC carries full liability insurance on every job. Standard coverage is based on NYSDOT regulations. Additional full-value protection is available upon request for an additional fee.

We are not liable for damage to items that were not professionally packed by our crew, pre-existing damage, or items of extraordinary value not declared prior to the move.

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. A deposit may be required to secure your booking for peak dates.

Prohibited Items

We do not transport hazardous materials, flammable liquids, illegal items, plants, or perishable food items. Moving of firearms must comply with all applicable laws and must be declared in advance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, NY.
